The Homes of the Pioneers were born from a simple, yet radical idea: that true progress lies not in escape from the natural world, but in deeper harmony with it.
Nestled in two breathtaking landscapes – one cradled by forested valleys and the other brushed by the salt-kissed winds of the Mediterranean Sea – these homes are more than destinations. They are sanctuaries. They are statements. They are spaces for today’s pioneers – visionaries, creators, thinkers, and doers – who believe in shaping a regenerative tomorrow through grounded presence, community, and purpose.
Though the landscapes differ – one shaped by forest and soil, the other by water and wind – the essence of The Homes of the Pioneers is shared: harmony, purpose, and reconnection. Both homes are rooted in the belief that regenerative living begins with regenerative being. That by slowing down, listening closely, and aligning with the natural rhythms around us, we remember how to live fully – and how to give back more than we take.
This is a safe space for the modern pioneer. The ones building, dreaming, healing, and daring to live differently. Here, the pressure to produce gives way to the freedom to reflect. To imagine. To connect. In the quiet, you may find not only rest – but renewal.
Our thoughtfully designed comfort rooms are crafted for your well-being, featuring ample natural light and spacious layouts. Each room boasts a refreshing walk-in shower, and one room even includes a luxurious freestanding bath. Whether traveling solo or with a companion, our rooms guarantee a comfortable and delightful stay. From June to September, a unique nature retreat awaits, nestled in enchanting forests. Our Sahara Bell Tents and domes offer a cozy stay with single or double beds, comfortable mattresses, high-quality linens, and charming décor, including carpets, tables, and chairs.
All food served is sourced from our own land, farms, and local partners in the valley. Under the auspices of our award-winning chef, the kitchen creates dishes that reflect mindful living and sustainability, embodying our eco-friendly culinary philosophy.
For groups we have a all inclusive service package featuring: exclusive rental of booked places and spaces, dedicated hosting team, experienced event Chef, shuttle coördination, daily cleaning communal spaces, pre-prep spaces, free use of workshop materials, free use of musical instruments, use Bose indoor and outdoor sound system, free use of shower gel and shampoo for all guests, high quality bedlinnen, high quality (bath) towels, free use of yoga mats, free access co-worker space, free Wi-Fi access, free use meditation room, main lounge with fireplace, use of communal kitchen, free use library and games, free use of infinity pool, indoor break-out spaces, outdoor break-out spaces in nature, contribution to gas, diesel and water consumption, contribution to garbage distribution, laundry and cleaning service, post event cleanup and handling laundry and materials after your stay.
To book The Home exclusively for your event, we require a guaranteed minimum number of guests, based on a minimum stay of three nights. Please note: The Home is closed from December, 15th to January, 15th.
At The Home, sustainability is paramount. To minimize your carbon footprint and enhance your convenience, we recommend taking the train. The Figueres-Vilafant international train station, close to The Home, connects to high-speed trains from across Spain and Europe. If you’re flying to Spain, choose Girona or Barcelona airports, then catch an AVE train to Figueres-Vilafant, a fast and eco-friendly option. Pick-up shuttle from Figueres-Vilafant international train station 16.00 hrs (or 20.00 hrs at the latest) and drop-off shuttle to Figueres-Vilafant international train station 11.00 hrs (arrival at train station approx 11.45 hrs). It’s important to note that in Spain, you need to reserve your train tickets in advance. Book them on: www.renfe.es.
