Sentim La Muga, celebrate the Muga Valley 14 – 16 November 2025 Arrive on 14th November and step into the gentle rhythm
In a world standing at a profound crossroads, The Pioneers of Our Time are charting a new course – not just with ideas, but with the full weight of their lives, their wealth, and their will. This is a growing community of individuals who see the cracks in our current systems not as signs of collapse, but as openings—portals into a more just, regenerative, and life-affirming world. They are investors and artists, scientists and spiritual leaders, entrepreneurs and elders, change makers and caretakers. What unites them is a shared belief: that it is still possible to live in harmony with nature and each other. And that the time to act is now.
The Pioneers of Our Time are not passive observers of the future—they are its active co-creators. They see that the current social, economic, and environmental models are no longer fit for purpose, and that humanity’s crisis is not just political or planetary—it is profoundly spiritual.
At its core, this is a movement of people who:
We welcome change makers in every form—because transformation has many faces. The Pioneers of Our Time is a cross-sector, intergenerational, and globally conscious network. While the forms vary, the essence is shared: a deep desire to live one’s full potential in service to life. Whether your medium is finance or food, storytelling or soil, policy or prayer—you are welcome here. Because transformation needs every language, and the world needs every one of us.
At the heart of the Pioneer ethos is a paradox: the more personal the journey, the more universal the impact. Pioneers begin with inner work—healing, reflection, and unlearning. But they do not stay there. They bring their clarity, insight, and integrity into the world. They act. They lead.
Whether through investing differently, parenting consciously, building regenerative enterprises, or simply showing up more fully in their communities, Pioneers bridge the personal and the systemic. This is what makes this network different: it is not just a gathering of like minds—it is a growing field of practice. A living ecosystem where deep values are lived, shared, tested, and brought into form.
Because we are out of time to wait.
Because our dominant systems are extracting more than they replenish—leaving behind broken landscapes, divided societies, and burnt-out leaders. Because the next decade will shape the fate of the next hundred—and the actions we take now will echo across generations.
Because never before has so much talent, capital, insight, and spiritual longing been so ready to align. Because this is the moment for courage, for community, and for commitment.
If you feel the call, you are already part of this story. Whether you’re seeking to live your values more fully, build deeper partnerships, shift your capital, or simply find others walking a similar path—there is a place for you here. Join us to:
We don’t have all the answers. But we believe that together, we can ask better questions—and build better worlds.
A story of regeneration, leadership, and the power of place. To truly understand the soul of The Pioneers of Our Time, one must visit the Muga Valley -not only in person, but through the powerful lens of film. MUGA – The Documentary captures the essence of what this movement stands for: the courage to live differently, the urgency of regeneration, and the magic that unfolds when purpose-driven people come together in harmony with nature.
Set against the wild, rugged beauty of the Muga Valley in Catalonia, the film follows the journey of early pioneers, including founder Stef van Dongen, as they reimagine land stewardship, leadership, and community in the face of ecological collapse and spiritual disconnection. It tells the real story behind the vision — of building homes not just for rest, but for revolution; not just for shelter, but for soul work.
Through intimate portraits, sweeping landscapes, and the raw voices of change makers, MUGA is more than a documentary. It’s a mirror, a call, and an invitation – to remember what matters, to reconnect with what is real, and to join a living movement of people daring to pioneer a different future. The film premieres at selected international festivals in 2025/2026 and will be made available for private screenings at Pioneers gatherings and partner events worldwide.
The Pioneers of our Time is founded by Stef van Dongen, a serial impact entrepreneur and lifelong changemaker. With decades of experience at the intersection of social innovation, sustainability, and leadership, Stef has dedicated his life to creating meaningful systems change.
His vision for The Pioneers of Our Time emerged from a deep personal journey and a bold belief: that the wealth, wisdom, and willpower already exist within our global community to regenerate our planet and our societies— if we dare to act together. Stef leads with humility, clarity, and purpose, inviting others not just to join a network, but to step into a shared mission: to live our full potential in service of life. Read Stef´s story!
